Before the mas, a 16th-century canal runs under plane trees planted before the Revolution, its water catching blue reflections. The whole estate is yours, in Lamanon, at the foot of the Alpilles. And in the evening your guests dine by the water, the string lights mirrored in it: the picture they will take home.

The area

Lamanon is a village at the foot of the Alpilles, north of Salon-de-Provence. On its hill, the Grottes de Calès: some fifty caves dug into the cliff, lived in until the 16th century, to explore on foot. Salon's big market is on Wednesday morning, and the villages of the Alpilles, Eygalières and Les Baux, are well worth the drive.

Fervenza is a French all-inclusive wedding company. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

How much does a wedding at Domaine de Lamanon cost?

From $72,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests, on a weekday from October to April: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. A summer weekend costs more. The exact price depends on your date and your guest count, and you get it in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers canceling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the estate directly?

You can, it's a lovely house. The estate rents you the mas and its gardens, with its list of partners. You then bring together the caterer, the furniture, the flowers, the music, the photographer, the security guard and the running of the day. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the estate keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Our base here is about 100 guests, at one long table before the mas or by the canal. Beyond that, up to 120 at the table, we check with the estate for your date. 15 of your guests sleep at the mas, the others close by, in Eyguières or Salon-de-Provence.

Which dates are still free?

The estate is now taking bookings for 2027 and 2028. Tell us your date, we check with Domaine de Lamanon and reply to you in writing.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes, and you have the choice: the rose garden facing the mas, the cypress and lavender alley, the edge of the canal under the great trees, or the walled garden, against its old stone wall, by the pool. Your words, your officiant, your people around you.

Can we have our civil wedding in Lamanon?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the estate. Lamanon town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the estate.

Our guests are flying in. Is it easy for them?

Yes: Marseille airport and the Aix-en-Provence and Avignon TGV stations are 35 minutes from the estate. 15 of them sleep at the mas, and we give you the best addresses close by for the others, ready to share.

Coming from abroad: how does it work?

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English.

Can we bring our own vendors?

Yes, and if you already have a vendor in mind, they're welcome. Your photos are included, with our photographers. If you already have yours, we welcome them into the team and adjust your price. At the estate, caterer, musicians and florist are all free to choose, with no corkage fee; a security guard simply watches over the evening.

Where do we get ready?

At the mas. One of you in a red-walled bedroom whose wrought-iron balcony looks over the courtyard, the other in the library, among the dark wood shelves and striped armchairs. Your closest people next door, the garden a few steps away.

And if it rains, or in the July heat?

From May to mid-October, a large nomad tent can go up in the garden, and the mas has its lounges and its vaulted billiard room, which turns into a dining room. In July, Salon nears 30 °C in the afternoon: the ceremony in late afternoon, in the shade of the plane trees.
