The area

Céreste-en-Luberon is a stone village on the old Via Domitia, between Apt and Manosque. Close to the estate, the priory of Carluc keeps a necropolis carved into the cliff in the 12th century, and a bridge from 1740 crosses the Encrême. Céreste's small market is on Thursday morning; on Saturday, the big market in Apt.

Fervenza is a French all-inclusive wedding company. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

How much does a wedding at Domaine de la Barbeirasse cost?

From $60,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. The exact price depends on your date and your guest count, and you get it in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers canceling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the estate directly?

You can, it's a lovely place. The estate rents you its hamlet, houses, tables and chairs included. You then bring together the caterer, the sound and the lights, the DJ, the flowers, the decor, the photographer and a babysitter. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the estate keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Up to 110 at the table, outdoors on the terrace as in the reception room, and as many on the dance floor in the vaulted room. 37 sleep at the hamlet, the others in Céreste or nearby.

Which dates are still free?

The estate hosts weddings all year round. Tell us your date, we check with Domaine de la Barbeirasse and reply in writing.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes, in the garden: under an olive tree, the white chairs set out on the grass, the Luberon hills behind you. Your words, your officiant, your people around you.

Can we have our civil wedding in Céreste?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the estate. Céreste-en-Luberon town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the estate.

Our guests are flying in. Is it easy for them?

Yes: they fly into Marseille Provence airport, or take the TGV to Aix-en-Provence, then drive up into the Luberon. Regional trains stop at Manosque-Gréoux, the nearest station. 37 of them sleep at the estate, and we give you the right addresses around Céreste for the others.

How do our guests get back after the party?

37 of them only have the courtyard to cross. The others stay right by Céreste, where a holiday village takes up to 206 people from late March to early November, or towards Reillanne and Apt. We give you the addresses, ready to share with your loved ones.

Where do we get ready?

At the estate, each in your own house. One of you at the Maison de la Source, where every bedroom has its own bathroom; the other at the Maison du Berger, its mezzanine full of your people. Each has its pool and its own outdoor corner, for a glass before the ceremony.

Can we bring children?

Yes, they are welcome. The estate asks for a babysitter during the party, to keep an eye on them around the pools and the pond: we find one for you. And between pétanque, table tennis and volleyball, the afternoon flies by.

When is the lavender in bloom?

From mid-June to mid-July, as across the plain of the Pays d'Apt. In those weeks, the rows in front of the hamlet are in flower, and a walk through them at sunset makes a lovely moment for the two of you. In September, the blue gives way to golden light on the stone.
