Who is Fervenza?

Fervenza is a French all-inclusive wedding company. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

  • French company, licensed live-event producer Your contract is governed by French law
  • Covered by professional liability insurance
How much does a wedding at Le Mas de Capelou cost?

From $63,000, all-inclusive, for about 80 guests, on a weekend in April or October: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. Summer Saturdays cost more. Your exact price depends on your date and guest count, in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers canceling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the mas directly?

You can, it's a lovely house. The mas rents you its park, its salon and its 40 beds. You then bring together the meals and the wine, the kitchen and serving staff, the sound system and the La Brousse tent. With us, all of that is in your price, except the rooms, which the mas bills directly. Every choice stays yours, and the mas keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

80 with the mas privately hired, from drinks to dinner under the tent, and 40 of them sleep on site. For a dinner of up to 100, served in the park, we check your date with the mas. Your other guests stay close by, in three guest houses, or in Avignon.

Which dates are still free?

The mas hosts weddings from April to the end of October. Tell us your date, we check with Le Mas de Capelou and reply in writing.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes, in the garden: on the lawns, in the shade of three-hundred-year-old plane trees, beneath the jasmine pergola, by the lavender or at the edge of the pear orchard. Your words, your officiant, your people around you.

And if it rains?

Rain plan: the La Brousse tent. Dinner and dancing are already planned there, on its wooden floor, heated when the evening turns cool. If the sky clouds over, your ceremony moves under the canvas too, a few steps from the orchard.

Can we have our civil wedding in Avignon?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the mas. Avignon town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the mas.

Our guests are flying in. Is it easy for them?

Yes: Marseille airport is an hour away, Avignon TGV station 12 minutes, and Paris 2 h 40 by TGV. A big free car park waits for those who drive. After the party, 40 of your guests go up to bed at the mas, and 41 more sleep in three guest houses just opposite and 5 minutes away.

Where do we get ready?

At the mas. One of you in the Capeline suite, 60 m² on the ground floor with its terrace on the garden, the other in the Chapel room, 60 m² upstairs. Your people next door, and the ceremony lawns a few steps away.

Will our families be comfortable?

Yes. Children are welcome, and the pool has a shallow corner for the little ones. Every bedroom and apartment is air-conditioned, and in the heat of the afternoon, armchairs and hammocks wait in the shade of the park. Parking is free, with a charging point for electric cars.

Can we marry during the Festival d'Avignon?

Yes. In July the city lives to the rhythm of the Festival, while the mas, out on the island, stays quiet. Your guests staying in town book their rooms early: we send you the addresses as soon as your date is set.

Coming from abroad: how does it work?

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English.
