The area

The mas sits in the garrigue north-west of Nîmes, ten minutes from the centre. In town, the Roman arena and the Maison Carrée, a World Heritage site since 2023. Les Halles open every morning from 7 am to 1 pm, for local olives and cheeses. Uzès and the Pont du Gard are less than 30 minutes away.

Fervenza is a French all-inclusive wedding company. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

How much does a wedding at Le Mas de Ponge cost?

From $62,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests, on weekdays or off season: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. Summer Saturdays cost more. Your exact price depends on your date and guest count, in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers canceling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the mas directly?

You can, it's a lovely house. The mas rents you its estate, its reception hall and its beds, with furniture for 100, and helps you plan. You then choose and bring together the caterer, the drinks, the flowers, the decor, the music and the photographer. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the mas keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Up to 150 for a standing dinner, about a hundred seated. Dinner is laid out in the courtyard, between the old stone walls, or in the reception hall. 30 of your guests sleep at the mas, the others in Nîmes, ten minutes away.

Will the mas be ours alone?

Yes. The mas hosts one wedding at a time, and the whole estate can be yours: the olive grove, the courtyard, the reception hall, the suites and the guest house. It can even stay yours from Friday to Monday, for a real long weekend with your people.

Which dates are still free?

The mas hosts weddings all year round, in the olive grove and the courtyard from spring to autumn, in its reception hall in winter. Tell us your date, we check with Le Mas de Ponge and reply in writing.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes, in the olive grove: the chairs in the shade of the trees, parasols if the sun is strong, and the drinks right after, a few steps away. Your words, your officiant, your people around you.

Can we have our civil wedding in Nîmes?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the mas. Nîmes town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the mas.

Our guests are coming from far away. Is it easy for them?

Yes: Paris is 3 hours away by TGV, and Nîmes station is 15 minutes from the mas, Nîmes Pont-du-Gard station 30. Nîmes airport is less than 30 minutes away, and the mas has a large private car park.

How do our guests get back after the party?

30 of them are a few steps from their bed. The others stay in Nîmes, ten minutes away. We give you the addresses, ready to share with your loved ones.

Where do we get ready?

At the mas. One of you in a suite of 40 to 50 m², with its private terrace by the pool, the other in the 130 m² guest house, with its living room for your people. The olive grove is a few steps away.

And the children?

They have their own space at the mas, a pool basin just their size, and the family suite has everything for babies. Parents dance easy, the little ones sleep a few steps away.

And the July heat?

Nîmes averages 31 °C on July afternoons. So the ceremony takes place late in the day, in the shade of the olive trees, and dinner in the courtyard once the sun has set. May, June and September are gentler.

And if it rains?

Dinner and the party move into the reception hall of the mas, under its wooden beams, the covered terrace keeps the drinks dry, and everyone heads back out to the courtyard as soon as the sky clears.
