The area

Redessan is a village on the Costières plateau, between Nîmes and Beaucaire. Nîmes is 10 minutes away: its Roman arena, and the Maison Carrée, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2023. Les Halles de Nîmes open every morning, and for the guests who come early, a canoe trip under the Pont du Gard, 20 minutes from the estate.

Who is Fervenza?

Fervenza is a French all-inclusive wedding company. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

How much does a wedding at Domaine Arbaud cost?

From $56,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. The exact price depends on your date and your guest count, and you get it in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers canceling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the estate directly?

You can, it's a lovely house. The estate rents you its hamlet, its beds and its halls, and opens its address book. You then bring together the caterer and the drinks, the DJ, the flowers, the decor and the photographer. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the estate keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Up to 150 at the table, in the courtyard or indoors, and up to 54 of them sleep on the estate. For 100 guests, about half stay on site; the others in the many holiday houses around, or in Nîmes, 10 minutes away.

Which dates are still free?

The estate hosts weddings from March to November. Tell us your date, we check with Domaine Arbaud and reply in writing.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes, under the great plane tree, in 400 m² of shade, by the olive trees or on the lawn facing the fields. Your words, your officiant, your people around you.

Can we have our civil wedding in Redessan?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the estate. Redessan town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the estate.

Our guests are coming from far away. Is it easy for them?

Yes: the Nîmes-Pont du Gard TGV station is 8 minutes from the estate, and Paris is 2 h 45 away by TGV. Nîmes is 10 minutes away, Avignon 30. Up to 54 of your guests sleep on site, and we share the best addresses around for the others.

Until what time can we party?

Until the early hours. Background music outside until 11 pm, then the party carries on indoors, in the halls downstairs or in the glass-walled hall upstairs, until 5 am at the latest.

Where do we get ready?

At the Grand Mazet, the estate's bridal suite: 70 m², a big sitting room, a double bathtub and a terrace facing the great plane tree. If you'd rather get ready apart, one of you settles into one of the farmhouses.

Can our guests swim during the weekend?

Yes, there are two pools: one in green marble, 13 metres long, the other 10 metres, each with its terrace. With children around, the estate can provide a lifeguard.

Will the children and the grandparents be comfortable?

Yes. The estate has already welcomed 40 children on one wedding weekend, and they have their own play area. The grandparents get a ground-floor bedroom at the Mas des Chênes. If someone close to you uses a wheelchair, tell us: we check every path with the estate, from the courtyard to their room.
