Your wedding at the Clos du Tuilier

Fervenza plans your wedding here, from $55,000, everything included

Win back 56 days of peace of mind

Planning a wedding is a second job. At Fervenza, it's ours: creative ideas that feel like you, our address book, one contract and a price you know up front. Your ally, for the two of you, carrying your whole wedding.

Why we love the Clos du Tuilier

A 17th-century tile works turned hamlet: a narrow stone lane, a courtyard under string lights, an old stone sheepfold, and the Luberon hills all around. The whole hamlet is yours, with some fifty of your people sleeping on site. You live here like a tribe: morning coffee together, pétanque with the aperitif, the dance floor in the sheepfold.

  • 200

guests at most, at table in the open air

and from 20, for a wedding among your tribe

  • 2 hectares, all yours

the whole hamlet privately hired, house, gîtes, sheepfold and pool

  • The sun setting over the Clos du Tuilier lavender field and the green hills of the Luberon

    A lavender field

to say yes in front of it, in bloom from late June to late August

  • The party

    • Ceremony on the plateau

facing the hills, or by the lavender

    • Dinner wherever you like

in the courtyard, the little lane, by the pool or the lavender

    • Rain plan

the stone sheepfold, for dinner as for dancing

  • Practical

    • The house and its 4 gîtes

for your people to sleep at the hamlet, billed directly by the hamlet, to you or to each of your guests: you decide what you offer

invoiced directly by the venue, and we send you the links to book

    • The whole hamlet

from the welcome drinks to the brunch, the hamlet stays yours

    • 30 min from Apt

the Avignon TGV and Aix TGV stations and Marseille airport 1 h 30 away

  • A gravel path between white roses in the Clos du Tuilier garden, wedding guests gathered further on, hills behind
    Arriving between the roses
  • A couple seen from behind walking across the Clos du Tuilier plateau at sunset, guests and the Luberon hills ahead
Off to the plateau, facing the hills
  • Guests having drinks on the Clos du Tuilier pétanque ground under strings of guinguette lights at dusk
Drinks on the pétanque ground, under the lights
  • Long tables set for dinner in the stone courtyard of the Clos du Tuilier, under string lights at nightfall
    Dinner in the hamlet's courtyard
  • Guests dancing, arms raised, in the narrow stone lane of the Clos du Tuilier under string lights and lanterns
The party spills into the lane
  • The Clos du Tuilier pool, its loungers and parasols, facing the stone main house
The next day, by the pool

The area

The hamlet sits just outside Oppedette, a village perched at the entrance of the Calavon gorges, where the GR 4 and GR 6 hiking trails cross. Apt's big market fills the town every Saturday morning, as it has since the 16th century, Forcalquier's on Mondays. And for a walk before the party, the ochre cliffs of the Colorado provençal, at Rustrel.

Who is Fervenza?

Fervenza is a French all-inclusive wedding company. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

  • French company, licensed live-event producer Your contract is governed by French law
  • Covered by professional liability insurance
How much does a wedding at the Clos du Tuilier cost?

From $55,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests, from November to March: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. From April to October, the price follows the hamlet's season. Your exact price depends on your date and guest count, in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers canceling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the hamlet directly?

You can, it's a lovely house. The Clos du Tuilier rents you the whole hamlet, for two to five days, and gives you its list of caterers. You then bring together the caterer, the drinks, the furniture, the flowers, the decor, the music, the photographer and the running of the day, each under its own contract. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the hamlet keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Up to 200 at table in the open air, and from 20 for a wedding among your tribe. The stone sheepfold seats 120 and holds 150 standing: the dance floor, and dinner in winter. Some fifty of your people sleep at the hamlet, the others in partner gîtes a few minutes away.

Which dates are still free?

The hamlet hosts weddings all year round, and summer Saturdays go first. Tell us your date, we check with the Clos du Tuilier and reply in writing.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes, on the big plateau facing the hills, or in front of the lavender field. If the weather turns, the stone sheepfold takes the ceremony. Your words, your officiant, your people around you. For a church wedding, a neighbouring village church welcomes you, and everyone comes back up to the hamlet for drinks.

Can we have our civil wedding in Oppedette?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the hamlet. Oppedette town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the hamlet.

Our guests are flying in. Is it easy for them?

Yes: Marseille airport and the Avignon TGV and Aix-en-Provence TGV stations are about 1 h 30 away, Apt 30 minutes. Once they arrive, everyone stays at the hamlet or a few minutes from it for the whole weekend.

How do our guests get back after the party?

Those sleeping at the hamlet are a few steps from their room. For the others, in partner gîtes a few minutes away, we give you the addresses, ready to share with your loved ones.

And if it rains?

Dinner moves into the stone sheepfold, up to 120 at table, and the dancing stays there. For a bigger wedding, a tent goes up in the garden. On sunny days, shade sails cover the tables, and the sheepfold shelters you from the wind too.

Until what time can we party?

As late as you like: the hamlet sets no closing time, and the dancing carries on in the stone sheepfold until the early hours. Those sleeping at the hamlet only have the courtyard to cross to get to bed.

Where do we get ready?

At the hamlet. One of you in the main house, the other in one of the gîtes, each with their own people, and the plateau of the ceremony a short walk away.

Are children welcome?

They feel at home here: the pool is fenced, baby cots are provided, and the ping-pong table and the pétanque ground keep them busy during the drinks. Their parents sleep a few steps from the party.

When is the lavender in bloom?

From late June to late August, says the hamlet, at its fullest in July. The field touches the main house, just below the spot where you say yes: in those weeks, it frames your vows. The rest of the year, its green rows still draw the landscape around the ceremony.

Coming from abroad: how does it work?

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English.
