Planning a wedding is a second job. At Fervenza, it's ours: creative ideas that feel like you, our address book, one contract and a price you know up front. Your ally, for the two of you, carrying your whole wedding.

Why we love Château Saint-Louis la Perdrix

A winegrower's house (a mas) with green shutters, a century-old plane tree, and 50 hectares of vines all around, between Nîmes and Arles. For a weekend, the estate, its stone hall and its three houses are yours. Your guests will talk about it on the way home: the sun going down over the vines, from the hall's great window.

The area

Bellegarde is a village of the Costières, on the Rhône-to-Sète canal, between Nîmes and Arles. The Roman and Romanesque monuments of Arles and the Maison Carrée in Nîmes are UNESCO World Heritage sites. On Saturday morning, the Arles market runs along 2.5 km of boulevards; at Bellegarde's port, you can hire a licence-free boat for a trip on the canal.

Who is Fervenza?

Fervenza is a French all-inclusive wedding company. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

  • French company, licensed live-event producer Your contract is governed by French law
  • Covered by professional liability insurance
How much does a wedding at Château Saint-Louis la Perdrix cost?

From $60,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. The exact price depends on your date and your guest count, and you get it in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers canceling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the estate directly?

You can, it's a lovely house. The estate rents you its hall, its park, the Bergerie and its three houses for the weekend. You then bring together the caterer, the service, the drinks, the flowers, the decor, the music, the photographer and the running of the day. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the estate keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Up to 250 for drinks and 200 at the table, in the 300 m² stone hall. 48 of your guests sleep on the estate, the others in Bellegarde, Nîmes or Arles, 15 km away. And at 48, everyone stays on site.

Is the estate all ours?

Yes, for wedding weekends from May to the end of September: the hall, the park, the Bergerie and the three houses are privately hired for you, from Saturday to Sunday. Set among vines and olive trees, the estate has no close neighbours.

How late can the party go on?

As late as you like: the estate sets no closing time and has no direct neighbours, only vines. Then up to 48 of your guests have just the park to cross to get to bed.

Which dates are still free?

Wedding weekends run from May to the end of September; on a weekday or out of season, the hall is hired on its own. Tell us your date, we check with the estate and reply in writing.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes, in the 7,000 m² park, in the shade of the pines and cypresses, or under the Bergerie, 150 m² under cover and open onto the lawn. Your words, your officiant, your people around you.

Can we have our civil wedding in Bellegarde?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the estate. Bellegarde town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the estate.

Our guests are coming from far away. Is it easy for them?

Yes: Nîmes Pont-du-Gard TGV station is 5 km away, three hours from Paris, Nîmes airport 10 km, Avignon 40 minutes and Montpellier an hour. To sleep, we give you the addresses around the estate, ready to share with your loved ones.

How do our guests get back after the party?

48 of them sleep a few steps away, in the estate's houses. For those staying in Bellegarde, Nîmes or Arles, we give you the addresses, ready to share with your loved ones.

Where do we get ready?

On the estate. The bridal suite of the Mas Saint Louis has a bathtub, a double basin and a balcony over the park for the first photos, and the Villa Bambou, tucked away in its own garden, gives the other of you a quiet corner of your own.

And if it rains, or if it's very hot?

If it rains, the ceremony and the drinks move under the Bergerie, 150 m² under cover, and dinner is in the stone hall. If it's hot, the hall is air-conditioned and the park keeps the shade of its tall trees; in July and August, we hold the ceremony in late afternoon.

Will our grandparents manage?

Yes: access ramps lead into the reception hall, cars park on the estate, and the hall is air-conditioned for summer afternoons. The houses have family rooms, and up to 48 of your guests sleep a stone's throw from the party.

Coming from abroad: how does it work?

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English.
