The area

Ollières is a village of the Provence Verte built around its 17th-century château, between Mont Sainte-Victoire and the Sainte-Baume massif. In Saint-Maximin, the Gothic basilica keeps the relics of Mary Magdalene, and the big market fills the town on Wednesday morning. Aix-en-Provence and the Sainte-Victoire are 30 minutes away, the Verdon gorges 45.

Who is Fervenza?

Fervenza is a French all-inclusive wedding company. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

  • French company, licensed live-event producer Your contract is governed by French law
  • Covered by professional liability insurance
How much does a wedding at Les Terres de Saint Hilaire cost?

From $56,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests, the big day on a weekday: the hamlet, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. Rooms are billed directly by the estate, to you or to each of your guests. Your exact price depends on your date and your guest count, in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers canceling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the hamlet directly?

You can, it's a lovely place. The domain rents you the Mas de la Marotte with its beds, its tent and its furniture, and introduces its caterer. You then bring together the flowers, the decor, the music, the photographer and the running of the day. With us, all of that is in your price, except the rooms, which the estate bills directly. Every choice stays yours, and the domain keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

From 80 to 150 at the table under the bamboo tent, and up to 100 of them sleep in the hamlet.

Which dates are still free?

Tell us your date, we check with Les Terres de Saint Hilaire and reply in writing. Autumn, calmer than spring and summer, leaves more dates to choose from.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes, in the olive grove of the mas, facing Mont Aurélien. In summer we set it in late afternoon, when the light turns golden on the olive trees. Your words, your officiant, your people around you.

Can we have our civil wedding in Ollières?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the mas. Ollières town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the mas.

Our guests are flying in. Is it easy for them?

Yes: Marseille Provence airport is an hour away, Aix-en-Provence TGV station 40 minutes, and the A8 motorway 5 minutes, at Saint-Maximin. And up to 100 of them sleep on site: once they arrive, they can forget the car.

Will our grandparents be comfortable?

Yes. The houses open straight onto the courtyard, and the three suites have wheelchair access and air conditioning, with the pool right outside. The car park is on site, and those who sleep at the mas have their room a few steps from the party.

Where do we get ready?

In the hamlet. One of you in a suite, with its two bathrooms and its mezzanine, the other in one of the houses, your people around you. You meet in the olive grove.

And the July heat?

We set the vows in late afternoon and the drinks in the shade of the mulberry trees. On the day, the pool stays open to your people until 6 p.m., and the bamboo tent, open on its sides, lets the evening air through.

Coming from abroad: how does it work?

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English.
