The area

Grambois is a hilltop village of the southern Luberon, at 360 m, with its frescoed church, its 400-year-old oak and the fountain filmed in La Gloire de mon père. On Wednesday mornings, the market on the ramparts square. Close by, the château of La Tour-d'Aigues and its ceramics museum, then Ansouis and Lourmarin.

Who is Fervenza?

Fervenza is a French all-inclusive wedding company. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

  • French company, licensed live-event producer Your contract is governed by French law
  • Covered by professional liability insurance
How much does a wedding at Château de Pradines cost?

From $110,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. The exact price depends on your date and your guest count, and you get it in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers canceling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the château directly?

You can, it's a beautiful house. The château rents you its estate, with linen, the set-up the day before and a tent if it rains, and introduces its caterer. You then bring together the wines and spirits, flowers and decor, furniture, music and photographer. With us, it's all in your price, every choice stays yours, and the château keeps its rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Up to 150 at table, on the 400 m² terrace under the century-old plane trees, and up to 150 for a cocktail in the park. The house caterer's table is laid from 100 adults, which suits our base of about 100 guests.

Which dates are still free?

Tell us your date, we check with the château and reply in writing. The family opens the estate for only a few weekends a year, so the sooner we ask, the better.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes: under the century-old trees of the park, in the rose garden, or at the foot of the grand staircase, by the old fountain it wraps around. You choose who marries you, in English, French or both, and what gets said.

Can we have our civil wedding in Grambois?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the château. Grambois town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the château.

Our guests are flying in. Is it easy for them?

Yes: they land at Marseille airport or arrive at Aix-en-Provence TGV station, then drive up the A51 motorway into the Luberon. The estate has its own parking. The château has bedrooms, and around it we share the guest houses of Grambois and La Tour-d'Aigues, ready to send.

How late can we party?

Until 4 am, in the château's former private theatre, now its dance floor. Around midnight, a buffet brings everyone back to the floor. We confirm the château's exact times for your date, in writing.

What if it rains?

Rain plan: a tent goes up on the estate, part of the château's hire, only if the sky asks for it. And the party already happens indoors, in the theatre.

Where do we get ready?

At the château: the bridal suite is part of the hire, and its panelled rooms with gilded mirrors make lovely light for the photos. One of you on each side, if you'd like to see each other for the first time at the ceremony.

And the heat in July?

The century-old plane trees shade the terrace, and we set the ceremony for late afternoon. In July the sun sets around 9.20 pm: drinks in the golden hour, dinner as the string lights come on, and the pool waiting for the morning after.

Coming from abroad: how does it work?

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English.

Can we bring our own vendors?

Yes, and if you already have a vendor in mind, they're welcome. Your photos are included, with our photographers. If you already have yours, we welcome them into the team and adjust your price. For the table, the château works with its own house caterer, and we build the menu with them.
