The area

Grasse is the world's perfume capital: its perfume-making know-how is on UNESCO's intangible heritage list. For guests who come early: the Musée International de la Parfumerie in the old town, five minutes away, a workshop to create their own scent in a Grasse perfumery or at the bastide, and on Saturday the market on the place aux Aires. In May, the Exporose fills the town with roses.

Who is Fervenza?

Fervenza is a French all-inclusive wedding company. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

  • French company, licensed live-event producer Your contract is governed by French law
  • Covered by professional liability insurance
How much does a wedding at La Bastide Saint-Antoine cost?

From $60,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests: the venue, the house's table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. Your exact price depends on your date and your guest count, in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers canceling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the bastide directly?

You can, it's a lovely house. The bastide welcomes you and its kitchen cooks your wedding menu. You then bring together the flowers and decor, the band or the DJ, the photographer, the running of the day and the welcome of your guests. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the bastide keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Up to 380 outdoors, on the terrace and in the garden, for a walking dinner among the olive trees, and up to 220 at table in the salons, at round tables of 8 to 10 or an oval table for 20. For a seated dinner on the lawn, we plan the tables with you at the visit.

Will other hotel guests be there?

For a large wedding, the bastide can host you exclusively outdoors, on its terrace and in its garden. Tell us your date: we ask the bastide for the whole house, with its 16 rooms, and confirm it in writing with your price.

Which dates are still free?

The bastide is open all year. Tell us your date, we check with La Bastide Saint-Antoine and reply in writing.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes, in the park, under the olive trees of the terraces, late in the afternoon when the heat drops. Then the drinks follow a few steps away, among the olive trees. Your words, your officiant, your people around you.

What if it rains?

The drinks and dinner move into the bastide's salons, daylit and seating up to 220. We plan the sheltered version of your ceremony with you at the visit, and keep it ready.

Where do we dance, and until when?

On the lawn, under the string lights at the foot of the facade, right after dinner, and the party can carry on in the bastide's salons, made for dancing. The closing time depends on the formula you choose with the bastide, the whole house or its salons: we give it to you in writing with your price.

Can we have our civil wedding in Grasse?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the bastide. Grasse town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the bastide.

Our guests are flying in. Is it easy for them?

Yes: Nice Côte d'Azur airport is about 30 minutes away, Cannes station 20, and the bastide books taxis ahead for them. Cannes-Mandelieu business airport is 15 minutes away for private flights. To sleep, we give you the best addresses in Grasse and Cannes.

Where do we get ready?

One of you in a suite with its balcony or terrace, the other in the 160 m² apartment, if you'd like to keep the surprise. The hotel's concierge books hair, make-up and manicure, and the pool is there for a quiet swim before the ceremony.

Will our grandparents be comfortable?

Yes: the salons, the restaurant and at least one bedroom are accessible to reduced mobility, with private parking at the bastide. For the ceremony among the olive terraces, we pick a spot close to the house and reserve the front seats for them.

Can our guests create their own perfume?

Yes, it's the Grasse thing to do the day before: a perfumery in town welcomes from 2 to 50 people for an hour and a half or two, and the workshop can also come to the bastide from 10 guests. Everyone leaves with their own bottle.

Coming from abroad: how does it work?

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English.
