The area

Lambesc is a small town of the Pays d'Aix, where the assemblies of the communities of Provence met from 1646 to 1786. Around the château, meadows, woods and garrigue, and the Sainte-Victoire on the horizon. Close by, the Valmousse aqueduct crosses the Touloubre on 14 arches. The Provençal market on Friday morning, the growers' market on Tuesday afternoon: for your guests, the weekend starts in the village.

Who is Fervenza?

Fervenza is a French all-inclusive wedding company. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

  • French company, licensed live-event producer Your contract is governed by French law
  • Covered by professional liability insurance
How much does a wedding at Château de Valmousse cost?

From $55,000, all-inclusive, for the big day at the château and about 100 guests: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. For the full weekend, with the welcome the day before and the next-day brunch, we add them to your price. The exact price for your date and your number of guests, in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers canceling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the château directly?

You can, it's a beautiful house. The château rents you its estate for a day, a weekend or a week, and leaves you free to choose your caterer. You then bring together the caterer, the tables and chairs, the decor, the flowers, the photographer, and the evening's DJ through the château. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the château keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Up to 400 outdoors, in the park and the plane-tree courtyard. For dinner, up to 350 at table on the terraces, and more than 200 in the orangery. For a more intimate wedding, the château's four connecting salons seat 60.

Which dates are still free?

Tell us your date, we check with the château and reply in writing. It is open all year, and most weddings there happen between May and September.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes: before the great gates of the park, on the lawn facing the château and its great pond, or in the courtyard, in the shade of the plane trees. Your words, your officiant, your people around you, and we set the scene.

Can we have our civil wedding in Lambesc?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the château. Lambesc town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the château.

Our guests are flying in. Is it easy for them?

Yes: Marseille Provence airport and Aix-en-Provence TGV station are both under 30 km away, the Salon-de-Provence station under 15 km, and Aix-en-Provence 30 minutes. About fifty of them can stay on the estate, and we share the best addresses around for the others.

Coming from abroad: how does it work?

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English.

Who cooks for our wedding?

The caterer you prefer: the château leaves the choice free, with no corkage fee. Its own kitchen cooks from the estate's organic vegetable garden, with the house wines in red, rosé and white. We put the menu together with you, and you taste it beforehand.

How late can the party go?

Until 4 am, dancing in the orangery, with the château's own DJ and sound system. We confirm the château's exact times for your date, in writing.

What if it rains?

Rain plan: dinner in the orangery, where more than 200 guests sit at table, drinks in the château's four connecting salons, and the party carries on in the orangery.

Can we arrive by carriage?

Yes: the estate is home to a riding centre. An arrival by carriage, photos among the horses, a ride through the park for your guests: we arrange it all with the stables.

Where do we get ready?

In the château's bedrooms, when you sleep at the estate. One of you on each side, if you'd like to see each other for the first time at the ceremony.
