The area

Saint-Cyr-en-Arthies is a village of the Vexin français regional nature park, between the Seine and the wheat fields. La Roche-Guyon, the only village of the Paris region among the Plus Beaux Villages de France, is 11 km away, Giverny and Monet's gardens 30 minutes. On Saturday mornings, the market fills the Place de la Halle in Magny-en-Vexin.

Fervenza is a French all-inclusive wedding company. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

How much does a wedding at Château de la Bûcherie cost?

From $57,000, all-inclusive, for about 80 guests: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. The exact price depends on your date and your guest count, and you get it in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers canceling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the château directly?

You can, it's a beautiful house. The château hires you its estate and its rooms, with its events team beside you. You then bring together the flowers and the decor, the music and the DJ, the photographer and a tent beyond 80 guests. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the château keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Up to 80 at table in the château, and beyond that a tent goes up in the heart of the estate. For a smaller dinner, the house restaurant seats 45. The château and Le Moulin sleep 76 adults and 15 children.

Which dates are still free?

Tell us your date, we check with the château and reply in writing. The estate takes its winter break in December.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes, outdoors, facing the 65-hectare park, under an arch of flowers if you love the idea. Your words, your officiant, your people around you.

Can we have our civil wedding in Saint-Cyr-en-Arthies?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the château. Saint-Cyr-en-Arthies town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the château.

Our guests are flying in. Is it easy for them?

Yes: the château is an hour from Paris and Mantes-la-Jolie station, served from Paris Saint-Lazare, is 20 minutes away. Parking is free on site. 76 of them sleep at the château and Le Moulin, and we share the best addresses nearby.

Coming from abroad: how does it work?

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English.

Until what time can we party?

Until 3 in the morning. Then your guests only have to go upstairs, with 33 rooms at the château and Le Moulin waiting for them.

And if it rains?

Dinner and the party stay dry: inside the château up to 80 guests, and beyond that under a tent pitched in the heart of the estate.

Where do we get ready?

In one of the château's suites, looking out over the park, with a period fireplace in the junior suites. Le Boudoir, the wellness space in the old stables, offers facials and body treatments.

Will our grandparents manage easily?

Yes. The château has arrangements for guests with reduced mobility, parking is free on site and dogs are welcome. There is no lift: tell us who needs an easy-access room, and we sort it out with the château.

What is the great tree by the water?

An oriental plane tree about 400 years old, labelled Arbre remarquable de France in 2015. Its branches spread out over a small pond in the park, and it's the spot your guests will want in their photos.

Can we bring our own vendors?

Yes, and if you already have a vendor in mind, they're welcome. Your photos are included, with our photographers. If you already have yours, we welcome them into the team and adjust your price. For the table, the château's kitchen is yours to taste, and another caterer is looked at with the château, project by project.
