Who is Fervenza?

Fervenza is a French all-inclusive wedding company. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

  • French company, licensed live-event producer Your contract is governed by French law
  • Covered by professional liability insurance
How much does a wedding at Château de la Bourdaisière cost?

From $88,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. The exact price depends on your date and your guest count, and you get it in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers canceling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the château directly?

You can, it's a beautiful house. The château rents you its vaulted hall, the terrace and its 31 rooms for the weekend, and opens its address book. You then bring together the caterer and the service, the drinks, the decor and furniture, the flowers, the music and the photographer. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the château keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Up to 300 at table under the vaults of the François Ier hall, and everyone together on the 2,000 m² terrace for drinks. For the evening before, the caves welcome up to 199 guests, and the château's chapel 20 for a very close ceremony.

Which dates are still free?

Tell us your date, we check with the château and reply in writing. The château hosts weddings all year round.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes: under an altar set up in the gardens, facing the château, or in the château's chapel for 20 people. Your words, your officiant, your people around you.

Can we have our civil wedding in Montlouis-sur-Loire?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the château. Montlouis-sur-Loire town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the château.

Our guests are coming from far away. Is it easy for them?

Yes: the TGV from Paris Montparnasse reaches Saint-Pierre-des-Corps in 55 minutes, 9 km from the château, and Tours Val de Loire airport is 18 km away. Tours and Amboise are 20 minutes by road. And up to 79 of them sleep on the estate.

Coming from abroad: how does it work?

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English.

Will other hotel guests be there?

The hotel is yours: for your wedding, its 31 rooms and apartments go to your guests, from Saturday 2 pm to Sunday 5 pm, and the château hosts one event a day.

Where do we get ready?

In the château's apartments, 45 to 60 m² with two connecting bedrooms, or its largest rooms overlooking the park. One of you on each side, if you'd like to see each other for the first time at the ceremony.

Can our grandparents easily get around?

Yes: the château has a lift, the hotel an accessible bedroom, and parking is free. The classic attic rooms are reached by a staircase: we keep those for the younger ones. Dogs are welcome on a lead.

Who cooks for our wedding?

The caterer you choose with us. The château does not impose one, and its vaulted hall has its own fitted kitchen, so dinner is cooked a few steps from your table. We build the menu with Touraine produce, and you taste it beforehand.

What if it rains?

Rain plan: dinner is already under the vaults of the François Ier hall, and the château's tearoom and tasting workshop, an option, can host the ceremony. Drinks can move under the caterer's tents, on the terrace.

When are the gardens in bloom?

Irises line the Italian alley in April and May, the roses bloom from May to September, and the dahlia garden, with its 400 varieties, from July to October. The conservatory's tomatoes ripen in August and September.
